Get Lucky. The Lucky Star sales promotion was executed with a surprise and delight competition to win cash. Due to the high volumes of tins produced – and for a global market – promotional messages couldn’t be put onto the label, so we printed inside the lid of a select number of tins, which customers needed to find to win their share of R1 million in cash. 

 

The sales promotion was supported by a competition for the trade to involve them and incentivise them for stocking up. To conclude the promotion, ads were placed in the relevant publications to announce the grand prize winners.
